AWARDS:

PHOTOGRAPHY: American Photographer Magazine - Assignment "A Day in the Life"

TRAINING: Received the Initial PADI Instructional Excellence Award for Revisions in Dive Table Color Coding

MISSION:

Nature and Humans are one.  John strives to show an appropriate interaction/encounter with species that regard us with caution, including people.  Getting along has become more difficult these days of political polarization and mutual intolerance.  Sharks are an important part of Nature but even Kittens bite hard.

John's vision is that by producing Quality Stock Photos, a greater appreciation, and then value will be placed on the small creatures of Staten Island, the Exotic of the Pacific and the collective interdependence of all the people and species in between.  "A Wider View."

"World Peace" won't be the result, but his hope is that seeing and knowing more of the details will cause a pause in cutting down a tree, or ordering that delicious, buttery declining Chilean Sea Bass, et. al.
